He is a former Indian international player and played in 11 One-day matches for India. He hails from Madhya Pradesh. Presently, he is the only level three coach in Madhya Pradesh.
Amay Khurasia started his international career in a very good fashion as he scored a half century in the very first match against Sri Lanka. He was also included in the World Cup team but did not get any chance to play a game.
He was a very good player but some of his weaknesses with the footwork were exploited by the bowlers. He mentions that senior players in the team helped him quite a lot.
However, he took to coaching and still want to contribute to the game.
