I was particularly inclined to write this short Hindi nursery rhyme on a cap because my mother just weaved me a nice woolen cap for winters. It fits perfectly and I am looking forward to wearing it.
So, I molded the emotion a bit and wrote the poem from a child’s perspective. I hope will like it.

मेरी टोपी बड़ी निराली
थोड़ी पीली थोड़ी काली
दादी ने बनाई थी
प्यार से पहनाई थी
