    I confirmed about this “khotha” from a Gujarati friends of mine. He says that it perhaps does not have any English name as it is available in Gujarat only. You asked about “bor” also in your mail. I guess “bor” is Indian Jujube.

  3. The Gujarati name for Grapefruit cannot be mosambi (મોસંબી); in Hindi it is known as chakotra. I do not know the exact Gujarati name but in my opinion definitely it cannot be what Vivek says since these are two different fruits.

    What is name of the fruit “Raavnaa” found in Gujarat called in English? It is some type of berry, resembles a miniturized version of an eggplant, maybe about an inch long. Very delicious!

    What is the English name of “bokanda”? It is said to be a speciality of Valsad.
    This fruit is normally sold alongside singora (water chestnuts).

    blueberry is known as falsa in hindi, and in gujarati also we have falsa, but the appearance is different from the US available blueberries.

    cranberry is karamda
