Why Learn Hindi

I am learning Hindi in HindiHindi language is one of the most spoken languages of the world. Though in India, there are multiple languages that are recognized as official languages, learning Hindi will help you in lot of things, including:

  • Traveling to India (Especially North, Middle, East, West side of the country)
  • Learning Yoga (You will be able to pronounce the words and know their intricate meaning better)
  • Learning Hindustani Classical Music (Though Hindustani classical music integrates multi cultural and linguistic impacts, Hindi is the main language used for its tutelage, rendition, and studying)
  • Studying Ayurveda (Once again, learning Hindi will open you up to more literature on the subject and better understanding of the terms)
  • Mantra chanting & Kirtan (Understanding Hindi will help you tremendously in diction if you are looking to chant mantra and kirtan)
  • A stepping stone to Sanskrit (If you fascinated by the ancient mystery and knowledge contained in this divine language, consider learning Hindi because it is a building bridge to Sanskrit.)

Location of my house

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Nabha (1)My house is located in Nabha (an erstwhile princely state). It lies in Patiala District in Punjab. Roughly 300 Km away from national capital, Delhi. Well connected via roads and railway. The nearest city is Chandigarh, which is around 90 Km from Nabha. Flights are available from Delhi to Chandigarh.

NabhaIt’s a spacious double-storey building with around 10 rooms (used for different provisions), and have around 5 toilets-cum-bathrooms. No problem of electricity, some rooms are Air conditioned, no problem of fresh water, etc. Pretty close to the local market and is a corner house meaning no problem in parking etc.

Travel arrangements from Delhi or Chandigarh can arranged or discussed as per individual need. Mostly, it would be a private taxi, but if you would like to travel through air conditioned trains, it is possible.

Wanna Try Another Bhajan?

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Okay, I guess if you have read this far, you are up for another audio treat because the text is often dull that it needs to be enriched by what they call in the modern terms ‘Rich Media’.

Here is another bhajan that I sang and recorded sitting in the wooden room in the Himalayas. I just love this bhajan and feel that even the recording has come nicely–recorded over my Moto G (1st Gen) phone.
