English Poem–If I were to get you

Posted on Posted in English Poems

During all those dark hours when my being just wanted to run away from elemental bindings, you held me tight with the blissful clutches of those unfailing words.

When I felt alone like a solitary worm in the most remote anthill at the top of an abandoned mountain, you crept in from nowhere to accompany me.

It was like my own lost-self that embodied it and played around me reminding how energetic and happy a person could be avoiding all harassment of the world.

How the life takes turn, nobody can decipher.

But yes, if I were to get you, I will call myself the most blessed one and will love to live the life.
