English Poem–Your Will

Posted on Posted in English Poems

I am not well versed in rites and rituals.

I do not know how to welcome you when you will respond to my prayers and come to bless me with a glimpse of your majesty.

I do not have that experience and, therefore, am totally ignorant of the bliss that you would bestow.

I know that you yourself sow the seeds of that yearning; cultivate and fondle them, and yourself, after sporting with them to your contentment, come and satiate the thirst.

You yourself are the seeker and the recognizer; we are just the tools.

We need initiation to work, which comes when you deem us worthy of your touch and like to watch our functionality.
