Learn Sanskrit from English

Here is a simple guide as how to convert simple Sanskrit sentenses in English language.

I have taken the example of coconut fruit that has to be eaten. Then, I have provided the translation for all 3 types of pesons and all 3 types of time-period. We can do the same declension to many other roots or verbs but need to take care as there might be different ‘pada’ for other roots.

I eat coconut. (अहं नारिकेलं खादामि।।)
I ate coconut. (अहं नारिकेलं अखादम्।।)
I will eat coconut. (अहं नारिकेलं खादिष्यामि।।)

Singular Second Person:

You eat coconut. (त्वं नारिकेलं खादसि।।)
You ate coconut. (त्वं नारिकेलं अखादः।।)
You will eat coconut. (त्वं नारिकेलं खादिष्यसि।।)

He eats coconut. (सः नारिकेलं खादति।।)
He ate coconut. (सः नारिकेलं अखादत्।।)
He will eat coconut. (सः नारिकेलं खादिष्यति।।)
