My Poetry Books

Odes to Gitanjali

This is my second poetry book, though I prefer to call it the first one because the zeroth one (the actual first one) was a amateurish try when I was in college. My language was poor (which still needs a lot of improvement, as some might agree). This work was mainly inspired by Rabindranath Tagore’s Gitanjali and of course the master, Sri Sathya Sai Baba. It took me almost 5 years to compile it. Some of the poems are inspired by soulful music of musicians who became my friends through Facebook and shared their work in CD format. I hope you enjoy reading it.

Krishna–The Celestial Call

I don’t remember focusing on a particular reason to call this book by this name. But then poetry is often fulminant and you don’t have reasons to justify many thoughts. While publishing this book, I felt that the fountain of poetry has almost dried up in me, though it renewed itself with more vigor later on. There are lesser poems in this work than the previous one but have further depth.

My Life is a Dragon

My new poetry book just released in July 2016 and available for purchase on Amazon. In this book, I have written some poems that were inspired by my travel, day-to-day observations of my environment and incidents that happened during my commute, and of course the traditional muse of a poet while thinking about something.
