What the person is trying to say is to convey the feeling that he/she will remember the other person repeatedly.
One version of its translation might sound like this: ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, which may be translated as ‘I will remember you’.
The English sentence that we want to translate has a different meaning and needs to be understood properly.
So, while we translate this sentence in Punjabi language, it should read like this:
The above example is used when you have to convey the emotion to someone who is elder than you, higher in authority or you have to show respect to the person.
When you have to use it with somebody who is at your level or younger to you, you will need to consider the gender.
