English Poem–Purpose of Love

I have seen the work of a weaver: How intently he prepares the net of threads to knit them into a beautiful cloth.

The cloth is supposed to keep the faith that has been entrusted to it by bearing rain and sun, but saving the skin that wears it.

I have seen the work of a mason: How carefully he crisscrosses the iron-rods for the strength of a concrete roof.

The roof is supposed to keep the faith that has been entrusted to it by bearing rain and sun, but saving the people that live underneath it.

I guess you have prepared this body, also, with bones and nerves and other unknown things for some motives of yours. My Lord, you have placed trust in me to perform certain tasks, to bear rain and sun, but saving the heart that craves for your divine love.
