Lesson of Attainment–a poem for Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Here is another poem that I wrote while contemplating on Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. I hope you will like some of the words of this poem.
LESSON OF ATTAINMENT
I dared to know about your majesty and glory, which has eluded even the wisest of men, through my humble and little knowledge.
Though I was not versed in the rituals and rites through which your grace is attainable, I still felt your warming presence.
You placed me in your lap and made me understand the underlying idea of all the acts that are performed to propitiate you, –love! You told me that if I love all, I love you.
Thank ye, my Lord, for this simple but the most potent formula! It is easy to get you through love than all other means of scholarship and intellectualism.
