Longing of my Heart–a poem for Sri Sathya Sai Baba

Share

Here is another poem that I wrote while contemplating on Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. I hope you will like some of the words.

LONGING OF MY HEART

Blinking of the eyes cannot grant me your dream, and I pray to you for your vision.

But you are aware that I will not be able to withstand the majesty of your sight and will be hushed to a deep silence.

And is it this that is keeping you undecided to grant me your glimpse, my Lord? But what is the need to speak when you know all the longings of my heart? Bless me with the first of them all—your vision!
